Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) hosted the 11th Flora Malesiana Symposium, a triennial event hosted between European and Asian universities with Botanic Gardens.

More than 30 experts from four countries gathered at the iCUBE Workshop in Korea University in February with the aim of developing strategies to deal with current problems of climate change, biodiversity, energy and resilience through wide international cooperation to achieve a sustainable society.

The Dual Degree Programme signed between Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) through the Faculty of Science (FOS), and Korea University’s College of Life Science and Biotechnology, is set to accept its first intake in August 2015, following its signing of Memorandum of Agreement on 2nd February 2015.

UBD held the biennial iCUBE 2nd Governing Board Members’ Meeting on 28 January 2013. iCUBE, which stands for the International Consortium of Universities for the Study of Biodiversity and the Environment, brings together a core group of research universities from around the globe to form a consortium to address both research and educational issues and problems related to biodiversity, climate change, and the environment.
